This year the teams had to build and control a spaceship. They had to create everything: power, shields, weapons then explore the unknown universe, search the treasures, and survive the attacks of the alien Kwargs, as well as the efforts of their adversaries to destroy them. Also, they needed to breed their own mutant space-rats, which creatures had to fight each other after the 24 hours.

In 2006 the teams had to solve a diversified and exciting problem set, including a voice- and image-based file transferring protocol, alternative interface programming and some cryptography. Part of the problems were focusing on the preparation of an imaginary newspaper, Daily Task. The contestants had to cope with a middle-aged kingdom as well, managing a virtual country within the frames of a 3D computer game. Lastly, the Artificial Intelligences programmed by the contestants were challenged in a four-round toy car championship performed with physical buggies.
